This S-10 Extreme is in for a new rear setup. It was originally running a Mono leaf setup with the bags behind the rear axle. The owner is looking to get rid of the stiff ride, get the truck to lay flat and get some more lift. I plan to do a 5-link rear suspension with new Airlift 1/2" port bags, 1/2" Line and mount a 5 gallon tank under the bed. This setup will give a way better ride and more lift exactly what he was looking for. Stay tuned over the next week for more project pictures.

This style setup is just a bit old school..

The bag was rubbing slightly when the truck was aired out and didn't line up either. All of this is getting cut out.

Here's a shot of the new rear crossmember in place. The old leaf spring setup is gone. So are all the mounts and the gas tank crossmember. Next up is to install the notch and the 3-link and then start building the leveraged bars and mount the tank.

The front spring pockets were not eye browed at all.

This caused the bag to rub in a bunch of different spots.

New bags and no more rubbing

The bag now has plenty of clearance. Plus I redid the upper cups to give it some more drop.

Here's a shot of the rear half some what together. I still need to install the rest of the leverage bars and the bag mounts plus mount the tank and do a step notch.

5-link is installed.

All that is left is to mount the upper bag mounts and 5 gallon tank. Add a few tubes for support.
Unfortunately this is as far as I got for pictures. The truck is done. The tank is mounted in the far back, etc.....
