The original suspension was only set up for 18's. He's just bought a new set of 20 inch Eagle Alloy 212's and wants the truck to lay flat again. The new mods include getting the suspension to work with the 20's. Tub the firewall for clearance. Shave the firewall smooth. Mount a smaller brake booster. Tub the rear. Move the compressors and valves to under the bed. Rhino Line the bed to make it look nice.

Here's a shot of one of the problem areas. The firewall needs to get tubbed in order for the truck to be able to lay out again.

The wiring harness needs to be moved up a few inches and the firewall needs to be tubbed.

Here's a shot of the Engine bay. The A/C compressor is gone. Also the blower motor box has been pulled.

The new booster mocked up. The smaller booster is needed in order for the wheels and fenderwells to clear. Some brake pressure is lost. Due to the smaller volume of the booster itself but you do what you have to do to get those big rollers on.

The wheels are way up in the fenders now. Its time to start covering everything up.

The suspension is setup and the truck now lays in the front. We still have to notch for the tie rods and redo the shock mounts.

Firewall cut back for the wheels. New tubs will go in shortly.

Truck now lays flat in the front again. Firewall work is what is left and then its on to tubbing out the back.

Truck still gets some good lift in the front.

New wheel tubs are built and fit. Just need to spend a few hours welding them in, Then it is on to moving the comps and valves to under the bed. The inside of the box will be Line X after that.

The firewall is starting to come back together.

Firewall is smoothed out and taking shape.

The bed back from Rhino Lining. Plus all of the valves and compressors have been moved to underneath. The Bed came out looking really good.

Figured I would take a picture of the Tailgate and steps now that everything is painted.
I'll try and get some pictures of the truck with the 20's on from a distance.
