Keith brought his chassis up to the shop to get a reverse triangulated 4-link with leveraged bag mounts, Rear shocks and mounts, Front shocks and mounts. The chassis already had the notch welded into place, the rear crossmember mounted and the frame partially boxed. We are removing the boxing plates and rear crossmeber and putting the crossmember in a more ideal loacation for the 4-link to be placed. New boxking plates will be made with the bag mounts slip fitting through the plates. We will build a triangulated 4-link in house featuring 2x2" 1/4 wall tubing for the lower mounts and 1.5" 1/4 wall D.O.M. tubing for the uppers. The upper control arms will have the balljoint angle changed so they won't bind. After that everything will be taken apart and the chassis, rearend, 4-link, control arms, spindles and steering will be sandblasted clean to get it ready for paint.

Overall shot of the rear setup when we got it.

The original boxing plates we cut out and we will cap the top of the frame to get rid of the indent and run a boxing plate back to a different crossmember location.

Here's the rear setup currently. The rearend is mocked up in place, the original rear crossmember was cut out and a new crossmember was located in a different spot for a better 4-link setup. The tops of the frame are capped and new boxing plates are setup. We also sandblasted just the axle tubes to give a clean surface to weld the 4-link and shock mounts to.

Front frame with a little more cut out for bag clearance and drop spindles installed to get everything to lay out.

4-link is setup. It features 2x2 1/4 wall lower mounts 1.5 1/4 wall D.O.M. Upper bars

We pre-made the boxing plates and slip fit the bag mounts through them so we could weld both sides of the mounts. Then welded the boxing plates onto the frame rails.

Now we will tube brace the mounts in three different areas for support.

The truck gets 11" of lift all the way around.

Not to bad for being one tube with one weld.

The start of the sick shit.

Tube work is finished. Now we throw some shocks into the mix, Finish weld everything and call it done.
