Square Body C-10. All ready bagged by Hills Hot Rods in Lubbock, Tx it now resides in Minnesota. Plans for this truck are to shave the tailights, smooth the tailgate and install a 37" LED. Install a rollpan with license plate. Shave the fuel doors and firewall. We also are installing a custom made fuel cell, fixing the compressors, rewiring the valves and building a bar to protect the rollapan and give the truck something to drag. Lastly we are rebuilding the valve assemblies and relocating them to a better location.

We slip rolled the tailight fillers

broke the edge 90 degrees, and cut the filler to size.

Welded and ground the filler. Next we fit the rollpan and then its on to skinning the tailgate and installing the LED

Roll pan is welded in and metal finished.. Our next step is to pull the bed and blast the sides. Theres some hidden body work and rust that we need to take care of.

Blasting can really do some good and show you some hidden gems. For instance the driverside bedside was black primer under the primer the whole side was bondo, under the bondo was the original paint black on top seperated by some factory pinstripes and silver on the bottom. Along with a bunch of dents and some holes nothing was prepped before the body work was done. Blasting revealed all the underlying work plus rotted sections of the rear lower quarters of both bedsides.

Shaved the stake pocket holes and some random holes that were filled with mud. We tig welded the majority of the pockets with .035 rod and then finish it in silica bronze. We then hit the highs with a grinder and then metal file it smooth before buzzing it with the d.a. Its now ready for a real minimum of body filler

Same as the rest. We completely removed the fuel doors made new pieces and tig welded them with .035 rod and finished in silica bronze.

Rot on the lower rear quarters. After blasting we realized the rust went through both the outer quarter and the inner quarter support. So we removed both sections. Built new inner quarter supports and then made new outer quarter sections. Fit, tig welded and ground smooth. Its ready for the body work stage.

The a/c and blower motor box were tossed long ago. It left some unsightly holes and causes a hot cab from all the heat of the motor. We removed the whole passenger side of the firewall. Built a new panel and welded it into place.

All welded and metal finished.

We skinned the tailgate to get rid of the factory indent. Fit the skin and checked the body line. Then removed it and cut in the 48" LED. Sealed the inside of the skin and then welded and metal finished it smooth.

Firewall all blocked out and sealed. Fender and inner panel back in.
