Matts Silverado came in to the shop for a new back half frame and suspension setup. Fix the postive camber problems in the front suspension and set the truck up for 22's. Our Plans are to cut the rear clip off at the bed mount. Graft in a new 2x4 box tube frame. Parallel 4-link with watts link. Bags in front of the axle. New shocks. Aluminum fuel cell. Part way into the project Matt got his hands on a set of 24's so in addition to the new back half we also are narrowing the rearend, converting to hydro boost, tubbing the firewall, relocating the fuse box and battery and rebuilding the front bag mounts. A new bed has been picked up and will be tubbed accordingly.

Hard to see in the pics but the bed gap is way off. Its actually not a problem with the frame but a problem with the bed floor.

Bags offset on the bars are twisting the bushings. Plus the inner crush sleeves are a 1/2" to short.

Stainless fuel cell that hits the ground when the truck is layed out

TIG

Parallel 4-link mocked up and ready to be TIG welded in place.

We are narrowing the rearend 4" overall this is a good pic of just how bent the passenger axle tube was.

We put it in our 30 ton press and started straighting it out.

Thats looking how it should. If you need or are looking to narrow your rearend feel free to give us a call...

Back half, rearend, link bars, watts link all blasted and ready for prime, paint and clear.

Primed, ready for paint/clear.

Tucks a decent amount of those 24's. 9" of lift in the front and 8.5" in the rear.

Hydroboost all hooked up.

relocated air cleaner and overflow tank.

Starting to look like something now. Tucks a good amount of those 24's
